During spring and summer school breaks, the International School of San Antonio offers weekly language immersion camps in Chinese, Spanish, French, and English. Campers get to play sports, learn how to cook, create art, and test science experiments all while immersed in a foreign language. Whether your child wants to learn a new language or just practice while school is out, ISSA camps are a great way to learn.
Half-day sessions are available from 9AM to 12PM and from 1PM to 4PM.

An Art Journey through Paris

This art program introduces students to French art and culture through a guided sketchbook journal experience. Using art books, visual presentations, and museum references, students explore major Paris museums and artists while creating original artwork in their personal sketchbooks.

Campers will travel through China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand to discover traditional and contemporary art forms such as calligraphy, painting, and design, while also learning about cultural symbols and festivals. Activities include art projects, music and movement, games, storytelling, and interactive discussions that bring each culture to life.
The Spanish Literacy Lab

Ages 5-10
While the younger children focus on phonetic sounds, word patterns, and "rhythms" of Spanish through music, songs, and games, older campers apply these foundations to reading and writing. They practice reading comprehension, expand their vocabulary, write stories, and engage in creative exercises that strengthen both their written and spoken Spanish skills.
