The Cognia Global Commission awards accreditation status to schools that pass an extensive review process, meet rigorous education standards, and are committed to continuous improvement. As a respected global nonprofit organization, Cognia evaluates school standards and provides resources to support continuous improvement. 

LabelFrancEducation-Accredited School

LabelFrancÉducation accreditation is awarded by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) to French-speaking bilingual programs of excellence that offer enhanced instruction in the French language and at least one non-linguistic discipline in French. Accredited programs meet strict requirements, including reinforcing French language and culture instruction, implementing continuous teacher training programs, and entering students in Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) and Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) French language certification assessments. The International School of San Antonio has been awarded the LabelFrancÉducation distinction for its lower elementary French program. It is one of only three schools in Texas to be awarded with this seal.

ISSA is licensed and audited by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), which sets and enforces stringent health and safety rules.
