Today’s Theme is About Body Parts in French

Beginning Song

I know that at least one of our ISSA students loves snails. This song is about a little snail and his little house (2 min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Islf7AROIQ

Petit escargot porte sur son dos

Sa maisonnette

Aussitôt qu’il pleut il est tout heureux

Il sort sa tête

Activity: Three part cards for body parts in French

This fun song covers a basic list of body parts in French (2min):

Have your child make three part cards for the body parts in French. A basic list is below.

tête (head), cheveux (hair), yeux (eyes), nez (nose), bouche (mouth), oreilles (ears), mains (hands), pieds (feet), jambes (legs), épaules (shoulders), bras (arms), genoux (knees), doigts (fingers)

A free template for making three part cards is on Teachers Pay Teachers (must create an account).

All of our plans include about 30 minutes of activities, including songs, stories, activities and games. Children do not have to do all the activities in one go. If you have questions about the activity plan, please get in touch.
