The International School of San Antonio is committed to creating a safe learning environment for students. It’s with great pleasure that we can publicly share our status as a licensed child care center. ISSA has been deemed fit and in compliance with Texas law to serve toddler, pre-kindergarten, and school age children in its programs after several on-site evaluations of our school and operations.
What does this mean for students and parents?
Transparency and Peace of Mind:
Parents and the community can verify that ISSA is in compliance with the health and safety requirements of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Parents can search for our school and see our status at any time on the Texas Health and Human Services website.
We do not seek exemption -even as a private school- as we believe that it is lawful to protect our students, and to guarantee a safe environment. Students at ISSA are provided care in a learning environment by adults that have demonstrated competencies to care for and instruct children through this licensing process. We take great measures to ensure our facility and staff are prepared to deliver excellent service, and the highest standards of safety, health, and education.
Support For Working Parents:
Our child care center license to operate means we can offer before and after-school care that works for busy parents. Students are in good hands, and we provide parents with out-of-town care that they know is regulated for quality on an ongoing basis.
