ISSA partners with the DoSeum for their Big Day of Play on February 27.
Join us for a celebration of storytelling and imagination as your favorite books come to life!
Activities dedicated to poetry, art, reading, and science will be found throughout the museum. As part of the festivities, renowned author Diana López will also be on-hand to read a selection from her book Confetti Girl—the story of a young Latina girl growing up in southern Texas.
Teachers from the International School of San Antonio will introduce you to classics from around the world—read in Chinese, French, and Spanish.
Costumes encouraged—come dressed as your favorite family friendly storybook character to receive a special treat. From wonderland to wild things, it’ll be an event for the pages.
Admission to Big Day of Play is included with the DoSeum’s general admission and memberships. No additional ticket purchase required.
