Join us at the International School of San Antonio for a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival!
Also known as the Moon Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the oldest traditional festivals in China. Celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, it is believed that the moon is at its fullest. There will be plenty of fun, traditional activities for the whole family to partake in. You will hear well-known mid-autumn festival legends and stories and learn why there is a bunny living on the moon. We will make 冰皮月饼 (crystal moon cakes) and Mid-Autumn festival crafts.
Admissions is free for all ISSA students and just $7 for anyone else who wishes to attend. You only need a ticket for each child attending. Parents and other adults do not need a ticket.
Please RSVP so that we can best prepare for the event!
